Techgarden.hr undertakes to protect personal data in such a way that it collects only necessary, basic data that is necessary for the fulfillment of our obligations and informs you about the way of using the collected data, regularly gives you the option of choosing about the use of data, including the option of deciding whether or not you want to your name is removed from lists used for correspondence and marketing activities. All data is strictly kept and is available only to employees who need this data to perform their work.

10. Period in which personal data will be stored:

We store your data for as long as there is a purpose for its storage and processing:

  • Contract documentation (bookkeeping documents): 11 years (in accordance with accounting regulations)
  • Personal data entered in the comment form: until the data owner requests deletion
  • Inquiries related to potential cooperation, support, creation of offers, invoices, provision of information about practice or job inquiries: until the data owner requests deletion. We retain this data to improve our business and as part of our legitimate interests.

If certain data is subject to tax liability required for the execution of a sales contract, the storage period is extended to 10 years in accordance with tax regulations, and processing of such data is limited during that period.

If the same data is used for different purposes, we retain it until the end of the later storage period. However, we cease using it for purposes for which the (shorter) storage period has expired. Upon the expiration of the data retention period, your data that is no longer needed is either irreversibly anonymized (and anonymized data may be retained) or securely deleted/destroyed.

13. Transfer of data to third parties:

If you have shared personal data with us, we will not forward it to third parties without your consent. Your personal data will only be transferred to third parties as long as it is necessary to provide our service, or if you have given us your consent. We will not sell, license, or rent your personal data to third parties. However, we may disclose your information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of others, including our own property or rights.

Under what conditions are personal data forwarded to third parties:

The Company forwards personal data of users and/or clients to third parties (including competent authorities) only in the following cases:

  • User and/or customer consent;
  • b) In order to fulfill the Company’s legal obligations;
  • c) When such processing is necessary to protect the key interests of the user and/or client.

Since Techgarden.hr still does not use encrypted transmission procedures, protection against unauthorized access cannot be guaranteed. We cannot guarantee that some information or personal data will not be misused or forwarded to third parties. We disclaim any liability to you in the event of such misuse or disclosure. If you believe that the information you share with us should not be made public, please do not share it with us over the Internet.

15. Right to appeal

If you are of the opinion that we have violated Croatian or European data protection regulations when processing your data, please contact us in order to clarify any questions. You certainly have the right to file a complaint with the Croatian Data Protection Agency, or in the event of a change in the applicable regulations, to another authority that will take over its jurisdiction, and as of May 25, 2018, to a supervisory authority within the EU.

Abuse of rights:

If you use any of the above rights too often and with the obvious intent of abuse, we may charge an administrative fee or refuse to process your request.
